Melissa Marosy, PhD, ABW
I am a mediator, facilitator, trainer and leadership consultant specializing in conflict prevention and resolution in the workplace. I am a certified transformative mediator, a designated Advanced Workplace Mediator with the international Association for Conflict Resolution, and an accredited Boss Whisperer®.
I recently retired from a 30-year career with the USDA-Forest Service, where I served as a dispute resolution specialist and the executive officer of Creative Conflict Resolution, an intrapreneurial business I created within the federal government.
Since my first mediation in 1993, I have conducted over 600 mediations and group conflict resolution sessions for governmental, community, non-profit, and private agencies and organizations.
In addition to being a highly successful mediator with a reputation for resolving the most difficult interpersonal workplace conflicts, I have extensive experience in group intervention; communication, conflict resolution, and consensus-building skills training; and Boss Whispering® executive coaching. My focus in the workplace is on helping parties develop collaborative, long-lasting working agreements that will lead to improved job satisfaction, increased productivity, and a more positive work environment for all.
